Lorenzo “Jovanotti” Cherubini new studio album produced by Rick Rubin release date set for december 1st
Universal Music Italy is proud to confirm that the forthcoming Lorenzo “Jovanotti” Cherubini studio album will be produced by legendary Rick Rubin. This is the first time ever that the 10-Grammy-Award winner chooses to collaborate with an Italian artist. It’s also the first time that Rick Rubin works on a non-english album.
“…For me this a dream come true. This was a dream that I thought would have never turned into reality. But it did…” [Lorenzo Jovanotti Cherubini].
Rubin’s estimate for Lorenzo comes directly from a personal relationship. Then the common passion for music and the extraordinary human and artistic harmony, have led Rubin to the final decision to produce the first Italian album of his career.
Despite countless requests coming to his office every year, Rick Rubin seems to be truly determined to work just on projects that he believes in completely. And the collaboration with Jovanotti, who firstly happened in a beautiful location around Florence, is one of that.
Over the last few weeks, Jovanotti and Rick Rubin have been working on the final part of production process at legendary Rubin’s Shagri-La Studio in Malibu, California.
